At the Forest of Avon, we run tree planting events for corporate volunteer days. With us, you can be part of addressing challenges like climate change and flooding, create habitats for wildlife and look after community green spaces. We’ve planted hundreds of thousands of trees so far and we’d love you to be part of planting thousands more.

How our planting days work

Corporate volunteering days are priced at £65 per person, for groups of up to 20 participants. For groups of 10 or fewer, a minimum fee of £650 applies. This helps us cover staff time, planning, equipment and delivery, while ensuring a high-quality experience for your team.

If you are a charity and cost is a barrier, please get in touch. We may be able to offer a reduced rate depending on availability and circumstances.

Booking process

To book your volunteering day:

complete our enquiry form to find out more or request a day for your team
we’ll get in touch by email to discuss your requirements, let you know about availability and confirm a suitable date.
once the day’s all booked in, we’ll send you an invoice and take payment in advance of day
before your planting day, we’ll be in touch with all the information you’ll need to make sure your team feels excited and prepared
around two weeks before your event, we’ll confirm the exact location, timings and what your team needs to bring with them (our planting days take place in and around the Bristol area)

What we provide

tea, coffee and snacks
all tools and equipment needed for the day’s activities
guidance and support from experienced staff
access to toilets on site or nearby wherever possible, although this cannot be guaranteed at every location

FAQs

What happens if the weather is bad?

We aim to go ahead in most weather conditions and would only cancel in exceptional circumstances where safety is a concern. If this happens, we will make a decision as early as possible, usually by the day before the event.

Why is there a fee?

The fee enables us to plan and deliver an engaging, personalised day for your team. It covers staff time, equipment, coordination and other costs associated with running a high-quality volunteering day.

When do we need to pay for the day?

Once the date, team size and location are confirmed, we will issue an invoice for payment ahead of the event.

What if we need to cancel?

Cancellations are fully refundable up to two weeks before the volunteering day. Unfortunately, cancellations made within two weeks are non-refundable, as staff time and resources will already have been committed to preparing the event.
