Bath City Farm

“Being a city farm and a charity we exist to deliver community value and so the planting of the trees was such a lovely process to do with members of the public, visitors and local residents”.

Situated on a beautiful 37-acre site, Bath City Farm is a working Farm, that’s also a much-loved charity and a popular visitor attraction. The site provides education, training and therapeutic activities to people in the local community. In collaboration with Forest of Avon, the existing traditional orchard has been extended with 227 diverse fruit and nut trees.

These trees have been planted to boost the local biodiversity and provide food for the community. In addition, as they grow, they will provide shade and shelter for our grazing animals and help stabilise the soil on our steeply sloping site.
