Orchards for Pollinators

This buzzing initiative, supported by the West of England Combined Authority, is sprucing up community orchards in Bristol, Bath, and South Gloucestershire.

It’s all about turning these, sometimes neglected, spots into thriving havens for bees, wildlife, and people alike. We’re working with schools and communities to care for orchard trees and the grass around them to make sure our pollinating pals are well catered for. Plus, we’re opening up these green corners for local people, especially for those who don’t get much chance to spend time in nature.

We’ve teamed up with The Orchard Project who help deliver training on how to look after these orchards. And we’re working closely with the local councils to make sure it all goes smoothly.

Let's make our community orchards thriving pollinator habitats!
