Volunteer Tree Planting – Southmead, Bristol

View all events

Join us to help increase tree cover in the heart of Bristol! You’ll be helping to plant trees around the grounds of Greenway Community Centre, including a small woodland area that will expand onto Badock’s Wood nature reserve. A mix of native species will be planted to expand the habitat for wildlife in the area, as well as a few fruit trees for community picking.

All tools will be provided, including gloves. You will need to wear appropriate footwear with good grip and ankle support, weather-appropriate clothing and bring your lunch. Wellies are recommended. Toilets are available in the community centre.

Visit our Eventbrite to secure your spot. Exact location, meeting point and parking information will be sent upon signing up.

The site is located at Greenway Centre, Doncaster Rd, Bristol, BS10 6AH.

Bike shelters are available on site, and bus numbers 36 and 2 stop close to the Greenway Centre and Southmead Adventure Playground.

Plenty of parking is available within the Greenway Centre car park. Volunteers will need to organise their own transport to site. We encourage lift sharing where possible.
