This small orchard was maintained as part of the Orchards for Pollinators Project and is all about turning small areas of the park into thriving havens for bees, wildlife, and people alike. The Forest of Avon team is working with the Bloomfield community to care for their young orchard trees and the grass around them to make sure our pollinating pals are well catered for. It consists of a mix of apples, cherries and plums. With the local community we carried out winter pruning and general maintenance tasks and bulb planting.
