SUMMARY:Community orchard tree care day
DESCRIPTION:Spend a day volunteering outside in one of Bristol’s beautiful community orchards. Join our Orchardist Janine to learn the key principles of orchard care and help us keep the trees healthy. \nWe’ll be: \n\nweeding around the base of the trees to support their growth\nmulching – laying a protective covering around the base of the trees to help them stay hydrated\nrepairing tree guards\n\nYou don’t need any previous experience or skills. We’ll take you through everything when you arrive and we’ll be on hand to support you throughout the day. Health and safety will be covered at the start of the session. \nSign up \nTo sign up\, please book a space via our Eventbrite page. \nWhat to bring \nWe’ll provide all the tools and equipment you’ll need.
