SUMMARY:Volunteer Tree Planting - Kewstoke
DESCRIPTION:We need help planting trees to create the native\, broadleaved woodlands of the future. \nAs part of our Trees for Climate fund\, we will be planting throughout the winter across Bristol\, Bath\, North East Somerset and South Glos. \nThis project is in Kewstoke\, just outside of Weston-super-Mare. The field is going to be planted to create a small local nature reserve. This will provide a haven for wildlife\, improve the local area and welcome visitors. \nAll abilities welcome\, tools\, gloves and training provided. You will need to bring sturdy shoes\, weather appropriate clothing and your lunch. \nPlease sign up via the Eventbrite link below. \nExact location\, meeting point and parking information will be sent upon signing up – please do not refer to Eventbrite map for directions. Volunteers will need to organise their own transport to site. We encourage lift sharing where possible. Toilets are available on site. \nConnecting with nature and spending time in green spaces has proven benefits to our mental wellbeing and physical health. Our volunteer days are the perfect way to enjoy the many benefits of spending time outdoors\, while giving back to nature and feeling the satisfaction of helping your local area to become a little bit greener. \nIf you have any questions\, please email info@forestofavontrust.org
